'I did well!' she added. 'Our team lost, but I was impressed with myself because I made contact with the ball, and I also learned how to aim.'

On how she got her start in modeling, Upton reveals to CNBC,'I always wanted to try modeling and was scouted at the age of 12, but I was very involved in the American Paint Horse Association horse circuit at that time. At the age of 15, I drove down to Miami (I lived in Melbourne, Fla., at that time) with hopes of finding an agency.'

But I do know that when I was in junior high, I used to be made fun of — for being flat-chested. Everyone would go, 'She's not pretty! She doesn't have boobs!' So I always had boob envy. And when finally I went through my growth spurt, and they appeared, and I just... I loved them.'
