Preity Zinta to make television debut with Guinness World Records

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, who is all set to make her television debut with the Guinness World Records - Ab India Todega, opines the show would provide Indians a chance to showcase their talent.
"The common man will get a chance to do extraordinary and uncommon things and break records. I am myself an adventurous person and am very excited to host this show," Zinta told reporters in Mumbai today.
The show which would start from March 18 on Colors channel will also see TV actor Shabbir Ahluwalia as Zinta's co-host.
"I feel connected with the show as I am into sports and adventure. It would be interesting to see Indians perform difficult feats in order to create records," Ahluwalia said.
The show intends to break over 70 Guinness World records including pulling the heaviest vehicle by hair, flipping omelette's, swallowing swords and so on.
"There are several reality shows that offer multiple rewards but to be recognised as a Guinness World Record holder is a reward no other show can offer today," Ashwini Yardi, programming head of Colors channel said.
The show would be telecast every Friday and Saturday at 9.00pm.
