Tsunami warnings have been issued for Russia, United States, and Mexico. Other nations on the tsunami watch list include Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Honduras, Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji.
In Philippine, officials are ordering an evacuation of coastal communities. The warning also extends to Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
