The search engine giant Google may announce its new social networking site namely Circles, according to a blog post. The new Circles website might be launched at Google’s annual I/O conference, which is scheduled on May 10 and 11.
Google’s annual I/O conference has so far seen many big launches like Google Wave, Google TV and many others. Facebook would be its chief rival, if Google’s Circles arrives.
Not much details are available as of now as the rumors have just started popping up. Still there is a long period of time for Circles launch, according to the rumors. And if at all Google has anything as such under development, then we would for sure get enough details about Circles in the form of rumors.
Though the source is not a reliable one, we really can expect from Google something like social networking website that still remains rather untapped area by the search engine king. So what would happen to Google’s Orkut, which is already losing its share in countries? Well, we have to wait and see that.
