Bollywood Actresses Without Make-Up

Mugdha Godse

The ‘Fashion’ babe turned heads with her glam look in the movie. However, she shocks everyone with her horrendous avatar in this picture. Far from a fashionable babe, Mugdha looks more like roadside model than a runway queen.

Lara Dutta

The ex-Miss Universe is known for her impeccable style everywhere. Sadly, Lara gets caught in a not-so-appealing get-up and we can surely say that this is a rare happening and she surely does not disappoint very often.

Preity Zinta

We can’t say that Preity looks ugly without make-up, but she definitely does not look as attractive. She seems stripped off her natural looking radiance.

Aishwarya Rai

Admitted that she is one of the most the most beautiful women, but that too has to be credited to her skilful make up. She does not exactly look ugly but her age shows without her make-up.
Tanushree Dutta

She not a regular starlet but she has always tried to portray a glamorous image. In this pic she looks like a lost case and she does not look very happy about it.

Sushmita Sen

Sush is our ultimate style diva and we always love her. However, Sush seems to be too caught in motherhood and her difficult career to pay too much attention to her make-up. She looks tired and lack luster without her make-up.

Urmila Matondkar

Urmila looks like she has just woken up after ages of hibernation. She has scared viewers with her horror films but she scares onlookers, this time around by presenting her natural look in public.

Karisma Kapoor

Karisma proves that looking good is in her family. Just like sister Kareena, she too looks radiant without a trace of make-up on her skin. Call it the bliss of new motherhood or naturally blessed genes, Karisma looks picture perfect with and without make-up.

Top Sexy Bollywood Actress

By Kerry Douglas Dye

We love Bollywood movies. The bizarre, uniquely Indian mix of comedy and melodrama, the spontaneous multi-location dance numbers, the poorly choreographed fight scenes, the cribbed story-lines ...

The only down-side can be the running times. Averaging three-plus hours, even with the constant songs, poetic speeches and slapstick, things would get old quickly if it weren't for the legendary beauty of Bollywood actresses. Whether wearing a sari and sporting a bindi and dancing in the rain to traditional music, or wearing a leather mini skirt and halter top and dancing in the rain to new-fangled techno-pop, the hotties of Bollywood can make even the longest tale of star-crossed lovers go down easy.

So in celebration of the world's most prolific national film industry, we hereby present our list of favorite Bollywood hotties. From veteran screen sirens to vivacious newcomers, these lovely ladies are eleven ladki (that's "girls" for you non-Hindi speakers) to keep an eye on.

Swine flu scare in Bollywood

NDTV Correspondent
Monday, August 10, 2009 (New Delhi)

The swine flu scare has taken over the entire world, and with the death toll in India rising nearly every day, Bollywood could hardly remain unaffected.

Reports claim that Karan Johar has cancelled the Pune shooting schedule of his upcoming film Kurbaan as he doesn't want to take any chances. The 180-member strong crew along with Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, who are the lead couple of the film, were to shoot in Pune for two days, but the schedule has been postponed as of now.

Meanwhile Hrithik Roshan asked his Kites co-star, Mexican actress Barbara Mori to fly from Mexico to India, since her home country is where the swine flu situation is much worse than it is here in India.

According to reports, Bollywood has lost quite a few chances to hobnob with Hollywood stars thanks to the swine flu as some of them have cancelled plans of travelling to India for fear of catching the deadly flu en route or here.

Talk-show host Oprah Winfrey was to come to India (reportedly on A.R Rahman's invitation), but she cancelled her plans a few weeks ago.

Even Oscar-winner Julia Roberts is scheduled to come to the Capital to shoot the India phase of her film Eat, Pray, Love next month, but it remains to be seen whether she will go through with the plan.
