Dog bites shark and goes viral

It's got a big yellow dog, sharks, a dead dugong, attracted millions of viewers on YouTube and you couldn't make it up.

Video footage of a dog attacking a shark under water on the Australian coast has "gone viral", becoming a top Internet hit.
The footage shows two dogs swimming in the ocean near the West Australian town of Broome, about 1,650 km (1,025 miles) northeast of Perth.
The dogs appear to be herding several sharks towards shore, when one suddenly ducks under the water and attacks a shark.
"The dog is biting the shark," said Russell Hood-Penn in the voice-over as he video-taped the incident. "That is unbelievable. I've seen it all now."
Hood-Penn placed the footage on video-sharing website YouTube where it has been viewed more than 27 million times.

When the camera pans out, a dead dugong (a large marine mammal similar to a manatee) can be seen beached on the shore and Hood-Penn speculates that is the reason the sharks are circling so close to shore.

At the end of the video the dog emerges from the ocean and shakes the water from its fur. There was no word on the fate of the shark.

The most amazing dog in the world

Some of you may have seen this video on the Montel Williams show. This dog named Faith is simply amazing! Can you believe it was born without any front legs! Crazy that it seems to get around just fine on it's back legs alone.

Here is a little more footage from a local news station of Faith the wonderdog...

And because I found this videos commentary hilarious, check out this crazy rabbit, watch as it viciously attacks just like a predator...

Microchipped dog finds way home after nine years

Sydney: A flea-bitten dog rescued from a squalid backyard is to be reunited with her owners 1,700 km (1,060 miles) away -- nine years after she disappeared.
The dog, Muffy, was found sleeping on a tattered piece of cardboard in a backyard in Melbourne with a bad skin condition and matted coat by the RSPCA after an anonymous call.
RSPCA Victoria spokesman Tim Pilgrim said the white bitzer was found to have been microchipped which did not fit at all with the circumstances so they decided to try to track down the dog's owners whom they found in Brisbane.
"It's amazing that the original owners had microchipped her as it wasn't that common nine years ago and it is amazing that she had come 2,000 km from homme," Pilgrim told Reuters.
"We are advising people to get their pets microchipped so we can have some more happy endings like this one."
He said Muffy was believed to have been at that house in Melbourne for about one year after being found as a stray but no one knew where she had been for the previous eight years.
Muffy will be flown home to Brisbane next week to be reunited with her owners who were delighted to hear that their lost pet had finally been found.
